Hounslow Council would like to invite you to celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities with its third sector community groups, residents and staff.
The theme for this year is ‘Not All Disabilities are Visible’. Some disabilities, like mental health disorders, chronic pain and fatigue, are invisible – but that does not make them any less devastating to someone’s quality of life. International Day of Persons with Disabilities is also about promoting the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities at every level of society and development, and to raise awareness of the situation of persons with disabilities in all aspects of life.
Refreshments will be provided.
BSL interpretation will be provided on the day.
