About this event
Hounslow Council and its partners are asking borough residents to think about their drinking as part of this year’s Alcohol Awareness Week, which runs from 3-9 July.
The national event, organised by Alcohol Change UK raises awareness about the potentially damaging effects of drinking too much.
The theme for this year’s event is the true cost of alcohol - this can mean health costs, financial worries, relationship breakdowns and family difficulties.
The message for the campaign is a simple one - if you are concerned about your or someone else’s drinking, then help is available.
To support residents during Alcohol Awareness Week, Hounslow Council and its partners are staging a series of information-sharing events.
Highlights include:
- An information stand on Hounslow High Street on Tuesday, 4 July between 10am and 4pm
- Health checks and advice on Bell Square on Wednesday, 5 July from 10am onwards
- An information stand at Hounslow West Tube Station on Thursday, 6 July between 1pm and 4pm.
