What is the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA)?

The Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) is a statement of needs for pharmaceutical service provision within the Health and Wellbeing Board (HWB) area.

Pharmaceutical services include the majority of services provided by community pharmacies, as well as services provided from dispensing appliance contractors and dispensing GPs.

Have Your Say: Pharmacy services in Hounslow

Public Health want to hear what you think of pharmacy services in Hounslow, to help develop services in the future. Your views will help inform the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) which will look at health needs in Hounslow, the level and accessibility of pharmacy services and how these will be maintained and developed in the future.
We would be grateful if you could answer some questions about your own experience and views. The questionnaire should take no longer than five minutes to complete. The information in the questionnaire you provide is confidential. Please be honest with your answers so we can accurately assess areas where pharmacies are already performing well and areas that need improvement.

Hounslow Council has been delegated responsibility from the Housnslow Health and Wellbeing Board to undertake a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment. The Council have asked Soar Beyond Ltd to facilitate the process and provide expertise on undertaking the assessment.
