Carers' week 2022
The theme of this year's carers week is: Make caring visible, valued and supported.
At one point in time, we may find ourselves as someone who provides unpaid care and support to a family member or friend who has a disability, illness, mental health condition, addiction, or who needs extra help as they grow older.
Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, recognize their contributions to their families and the community, and identify the challenges people face as carers and how they can access needed support.
The campaign is brought to life by thousands of individuals and organizations who come together to support carers, run activities, highlight the vital role carers play in our communities and draw attention to just how important caring is.
