Heston Cost of Living Marketplace

Heston Community Centre hosts the third Cost of Living Marketplace event on Saturday, 3 December.

Around 20 stalls will be offering residents advice, guidance and support. Organisations that will be attending include C-Change West London, which delivers a range of educational and volunteering programmes; Bedfont-based East African-orientated charity ilays, Each Counselling and Thamesbank Credit Union - an ethical money management co-operative with roots in Hounslow.

Council teams will also be there including Adult Social Care, Early Years & Childcare and Community Solutions. 

There will be a workshop on filling out the Household Support Grant from noon to 1 pm, while members of women’s organisation The Goldy Goldy Group will be giving a talk about their work.

Tea and coffee will be available, and there will be activities for children. 

A British Sign Language interpreter is available from noon until 2pm.
