You could benefit from Help for Households
People and families on low incomes could be eligible for a range of financial support, accessible through the government’s Help for Households scheme.
Rates for the National Living and National Minimum Wage rose last year. Please check your pay to make sure you’re getting the rate you are entitled to.
If you’re on low pay, out of work or unable to work, you could be entitled to Universal Credit. You can check if you’re eligible here.
If you are married, you could claim Marriage Allowance. This allows you to transfer 10 per cent of your personal tax allowance to your husband, wife or civil partner. Find out more here.
