Make a connection for Children’s Mental Health Week

Children’s Mental Health Week shines a spotlight on the importance of mental health and wellbeing among children and young people.

The week-long celebration, which starts on Monday, 6 February, is coordinated by the children’s charity Place2Be.

The theme for this year’s event is Let’s Connect and will focus on how important it is for children and young people to socialise and interact with their families, friends and their communities.

In Hounslow, there will be a special drop-in session for Children’s Mental Health Week at Hounslow House.

A range of local organisations that support children and young people will be on-hand to chat with adults and children alike. It will provide information about what support is available for children and young people in the borough.

The session will take place on Friday, 10 February between 9am and 5pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.

There is a range of services in Hounslow that offer support for children and young people’s health and wellbeing.
