All aboard for Cost of Living support on Friday, 10 February

There will be widespread cost of living support available in Hounslow from 9:30am on Friday, 10 February.

The main event begins at 11am at The Jamia Masjid, next to the Heathland School on Wellington Rd South, where a host of partners will be on hand with advice, guidance and support on everyday issues from debt to wellbeing.  A specialised debt bus will be in the car park of the Gurdwara, on Alice Way, off Hanworth Rd, from 9:30am to kick off the day’s activities.

Experts will be on board, giving free and confidential advice on debt, benefits, and other money worries. The bus will also provide signposting on other cost of living support available.

The bus will then make the short journey to Wellington Road South for around 11:30am where there is also a wealth of support available inside the mosque.  Among the confirmed partners attending will be local counselling experts including The Mulberry Centre, disability charity RuilsOur Barn, which specialises in supporting people with learning difficulties, and debt experts Crosslight. A host of relevant Council teams will also be on hand.
