Cost of living support comes to Hanworth Road
A specialised debt bus will be in the car park of the Gurdwara, on Alice Way, off Hanworth Rd, from 9.30am to kick off the day’s activities.
Experts will be on board, giving free and confidential advice on debt, benefits, and other money worries. The bus will also provide signposting on other cost of living support available.
The bus will then make the short journey to Wellington Road South for around 11.30am where there is also a wealth of support available inside the mosque (Jamia Masjid), for the Cost of Living Marketplace.
The confirmed partners attending the cost of living event will include Crosslight, the debt charity, Mind, The Mulberry Centre, disability charity Ruils, and Our Barn, which specialises in supporting people with learning difficulties.
There will also be a presentation at midday where you can learn how to cut down on your home energy bills by following simple energy saving advice. You can also find out more about free resources the Council and government are offering residents to help save on energy bills.
Please note the dress code for the day is modest attire.
