Could you be a Community Connector?
Community Connectors are volunteers who work with Hounslow Council and its partners to help improve people’s lives by sharing details of opportunities such as free health and wellbeing sessions, workshops and supportive services that people can join in with.
In addition, they signpost people who need support with conditions such as diabetes, provide the borough’s carers with information about the issues that affect them and where people can find help with mental health issues.
Connectors share feedback from their community groups with the council and together help shape public health services and projects to ensure our services work for all of our residents.
There are currently more than 100 Community Connectors across the borough and the Council is keen to recruit more.
