Can you help Imperial College with health research?

Imperial College London is looking for some local help with two important research projects.

The university’s Self Care Academic Research Unit (SCARU), works to provide evidence about how people and communities can work to look after their own mental and physical health and wellbeing.

SCARU has two current research programmes that it would like help from Hounslow residents with.

They are:

The Interact Study:

This study aims to improve knowledge about and measure loneliness in the borough and across London. It is aimed at anyone in our borough who is over 16. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and possible interview by clicking here

South Asian Biobank Study:

This study aims to identify why people from South Asian backgrounds have twice the risk of cardiovascular problems and three times the risk of diabetes the those from European backgrounds.

By taking part you can help generate understanding about this difference and help to prevent these major diseases among South Asians.

Everyone who takes part is given a free clinical assessment and personalised health report.
