Lighting The Baton of Hope in Hounslow
This Sunday (June 25), The Baton of Hope Tour will begin a two-week trek from Glasgow to London to help raise awareness about suicide prevention.
Alongside the official tour, communities across the county will be marking the baton's progress by holding their own suicide prevention events.
In Hounslow, the Council has joined forces with Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, to host - Suicide: Just Say Something - at Brentford FC's Community Stadium Hub.
There will be guest speakers linked to suicide and mental health services available locally.
Hounslow Council and its partners provide the SafeSpace service for people in our borough who are facing crisis. It provides a drop-in service and a telephone helpline.
