Safeguarding referral system revamped

Hounslow Council’s new, improved Children’s Social Care referral process for safeguarding professionals and the public is now live.

The portal will provide a more sophisticated, user-friendly experience for professionals, parents, and U-18’s, improving the pace and quality of information flow and exchange and encouraging early intervention.

Among the benefits for professionals will be improved case history mapping and closure, leading to swifter, more appropriate responses. The system will also boast safer information exchange, improved referral logging, ‘Push’ notifications and a dedicated record of submissions to keep users up to date with outcomes.

The Hounslow Demand Management project will modernise the Council’s case management approach, improving our ability to deliver effective services and a better experience for residents, while reducing costs and making more efficient use of staff resource.
