Imperial College Health Partners: Hounslow Workshop session to improve Acute Care in North West London

We would like to hear from patients, carers and members of the public about the challenges and opportunities for innovation in Acute Care* in North West London (NWL).

 

  • Who are ‘we’?

Imperial College Health Partners is the innovation agency for the NHS in North West London, one area that we are focusing on is improving Acute Care for patients and the public.

 

  • What is the opportunity?

In a nutshell, we would like to:

  1.  Hear your views and experiences of Acute Care* in North West London
  2.  Understand what you see as the key challenges to getting the care you need
  3.  Hear what you think the key opportunities for innovation in Acute Care to focus on

*What do we mean by Acute Care? “Acute care” means intensive medical treatment provided by or under the supervision of a consultant that lasts for a limited period, after which the person receiving the treatment no longer benefits from it (NHSE)

  • What does this opportunity involve?

Our team would love to speak to you on a Microsoft Teams call or at a community venue. We are looking to hold a group discussion/workshop session.

We think it is important to hear from you before we start on this work, so that we know how patients and the public in North West London feel about acute care services and what needs to change.

 

  •  When and what time?  

We will find a date and time based on who’s available and interested.

Sessions will be 1.5 – 2 hours and take place between 11th September – 20th September; we can offer times in the evening if it is more convenient.

 

  • Do I need any experience?

We are looking for patients, carers and members of the public who live, work or study within North West London and have experience of the healthcare system.

 

  •  What support will I receive? 

You will receive information beforehand about what we will cover in the conversation, dates, times and any requirements.
