Putting student mental health first for Black History Month
Black History Month 2023 is a momentous occasion to recognise and celebrate the invaluable contributions of black people to British society.
Good Thinking - the London-wide mental health website, is marking the month by sharing the unique resources created by black students for black students as part of the Office for Students and London South Bank University's Black Students Mental Health project.
Being a black student at college or university can come with its own unique set of challenges, these resources, including blogs, podcasts and videos, address how difficult it can be for black students to talk about mental health and gain access to the right support.
