ARC Hounslow Named Team of the Year at National Nursing Awards
A huge congratulations to the Addiction Recovery Community (ARC) Hounslow team, that has been named team of the year at the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Nursing Awards.

Addiction Recovery Community (ARC) Sector Manager, Taruna Rampersad and her team collected the award at a ceremony at Liverpool Cathedral on Friday, 10 November.
Part of the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust and funded by Hounslow Council Public Health, the service helps people to break a cycle of addiction to drugs and alcohol.
The judges praised the team’s “commitment to improving marginalised populations’ access to hepatitis C testing and treatment”. This particular project has been led by addiction nurse practitioner Eugenia Moyo-Hlahla.
ARC Hounslow was one of the first drug and alcohol services to achieve hepatitis C micro-elimination in May of this year, two years before NHS England’s target of 2025.
