More International Acclaim for Hounslow Council Video on Impact of Dementia
Hounslow Council’s acclaimed video about the impacts of dementia on family life, Glimpses has been nominated for a second major film award.
The four-and-a-half-minute-long film has been shortlisted for the upcoming Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Shots Awards, which take place in London later this month.
Glimpses follows the lives of Hounslow mum Saima and her son Adam, as they come to terms with her diagnosis of dementia.
It follows the challenges they face as the condition takes hold.
Despite dealing with a difficult subject, the video carries the uplifting message that in Hounslow you are never alone.
