Keep Yourself Safe From HIV With PreP
PrEP is the best weapon we have against HIV. Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), which is free on the NHS, is used to reduce the risk of getting HIV (human immunodeficiency virus).
It works by stopping HIV from getting into your body and making copies of itself (replicating). PrEP can be used by anyone from a community or group that is most at risk of HIV, or people who have sex with people from these communities.
To start PrEP or to learn more, call SHH on 020 8321 5718 (lines open at 8am until 12pm, Monday to Friday) or book online by scanning the QR code.
Sexual Health Hounslow (SHH) has three clinics in Isleworth, Hounslow and Feltham and coordinates sexual health services for the borough.
