About this event
The Trust will be undertaking the national Patient Led Assessment Programme (PLACE) Patient-Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) - NHS Digital between 15th – 17th October at both of our hospital sites.
PLACE involves a team of staff and patients visiting a number of areas at the hospital to assess the environment for which care is being provided. The assessments look at the following areas:
· Cleanliness/maintenance/condition
· Accessibility/Disability
· Dementia
· Food provision and tasting
· Privacy and dignity
The main component of PLACE is to have the patient voice at the heart of changes made by the Trust.
