Thinking about your drinking for Alcohol Awareness Week
Hounslow Council and its partners are asking borough residents to think about their drinking as part of this year’s Alcohol Awareness Week, which runs from 3-9 July.
The national event, organised by Alcohol Change UK raises awareness about the potentially damaging effects of drinking too much.
The theme for this year’s event is the true cost of alcohol - this can mean health costs, financial worries, relationship breakdowns and family difficulties. The message for the campaign is a simple one - if you are concerned about your or someone else’s drinking, then help is available.
To support residents during Alcohol Awareness Week, Hounslow Council and its partners are staging a series of information-sharing events.
