Measles - make sure your child's protected
Measles cases are rising in London.
Make sure your child is protected with an MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) vaccination. Check your child’s red book and contact your GP to book an appointment for any missed vaccinations
The MMR vaccine is a safe and effective combined vaccine. It protects against three serious illnesses; measles, mumps and rubella – these are highly infectious conditions can easily spread between unvaccinated people.
Parents and carers of children aged one to 11 who are not up to date with their vaccinations, will be offered vaccinations against polio and measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) through primary schools, community venues and General Practice surgeries.
